This little village in the southern Philippines lost their school & houses like many other cities in the area. Thousands are dead & worse, unidentified & unburied. Between Manny Paquiao losing a fight, Miss Philippines almost winning the crown & the joyful holiday season, it seems many Filipinos have forgotten all about the terrible tragedy that happened. People still need help. I gave up buying gifts last Christmas to help rebuild this little village’s school. It wasn’t very hard, it was just money that I could spare & I hate shopping in people filled malls anyway PLUS I got a heart warming thank you banner from the kids who my money is helping out : )
Right now there are many great people hard at work distributing aide & helping the communities rebuild. I had fellow artist/filmmaker Kiri Dalena facilitate my donation, there are many ways to send aide, If you have money to spare, do send it their way.
